Villa Marconi offers the following on-site services to its residents:

For the convenience of our Residents, simple laboratory tests may be conducted in the Centre directly. A local laboratory will forward the results to the Resident's physician and nursing staff.

Arrangements may be made for dental visits through the Charge Nurse when necessary. We recommend an annual examination by a Dentist for all Residents. Villa Marconi has an arrangement with a Portable Dental Clinic who will visit the Home as requested. There is an information package concerning these dental services in each admission package.

All meals are prepared fresh, daily in the main kitchen. Special diets and therapeutic diets are prepared as required.

Housekeeping services are operational seven days a week. Personal laundry is collected each morning and returned the following day.

Villa Marconi provides full nursing care seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

Medications and refills are sent directly to Villa Marconi from the pharmacist for the Residents.

Physiotherapy and rehabilitation services are provided to Residents who require this service as directed by their physicians. These services are provided within Villa Marconi or depending on the needs of the Resident, arrangements may be made for specialized services in a licensed facility.

The focus of this program is to enhance the quality of the Resident's life by increasing and restoring functions or capabilities that have diminished. Components of the program include ambulation, restorative feeding and assistance with activities of daily living. All Residents are assessed by our team to develop an individualized program.

Specialized Foot Care Services provided by a Registered Nurse may be purchased and billed directly to the responsible party.

For the convenience of our Residents, a mobile x-ray service is used so this can be done in the comfort of the Resident's room.

Hair care services are provided through the Beauty Salon at Villa Marconi. The family or Resident may make appointments directly with the Hairdresser/Barber or directions may be left with the Charge Nurse who will ensure that the Hairdresser/Barber is informed. Prices and hours of service are posted in the salon and payment for these services can be made through a Resident's Trust Fund account if authorized or cash payments are acceptable.

The Tuck Shop is on the main floor and is open 7 days a week from 9am – 7:30 pm for residents and visitors. An assortment of snack foods and beverages can be purchased for your convenience.
